new Mitsubishi Lancer

Since the launch the Mitsubishi Lancer changed a lot, it was never so fast and thrilling in its first generation. The current generation Lancer is not only fast, it looks great and it is technically advanced. It drives well with plenty of grip through corners and the standard sports suspension helps it in this process reducing body-roll.

The Mitsubishi Lancer a big handsome car with an affordable price tag. The Lance is available with different combinations of engine and features depending on your teste. It can be a good family with all the equipments and features along with decent rear passenger space.
The Mitsubishi Lancer comes with wide range of engine choices. The 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine produces 141 horsepower and 131.29 lb-ft of torque which help it sprint zero to sixty in 9.8 second. Next engine option is a 2.0-liter petrol engine that produces 148 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. Top end Lancer variants GTS gets a 2.4-litre petrol engine that makes 168 hp and 167 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard for both engines, and a CVT is optional on the ES and GTS.
The diesel variants gets a 2.0-litre engine, which generates 138bhp and 228.6 lb-ft of torque with maximum speed of 129mph. The Ralliart features a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 237 horsepower and 253lb-ft. The Ralliart get an automated dual-clutch manual transmission with shift paddles to power all four wheels. In August 2009 an entry-level 1.5-litre engine was added, which makes a decent 107bhp and 0-62mph takes 11.6 seconds.
Standard features in the Mitsubishi Lancer include 16-inch steel wheels, full power accessories, a tilt-only steering wheel, a trip computer and a four-speaker CD/MP3 stereo. The GS adds cruise control, keyless entry, a 60/40-split rear seat, air-conditioning, upgraded upholstery, manual driver-seat height adjustment, steering-wheel audio controls and an auxiliary audio jack for the stereo.
The GTS gets fog-lights, a rear spoiler, 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, a sport-tuned suspension, keyless ignition/entry, sport bucket front seats with upgraded fabric, the Fuse voice-activation system, Bluetooth and a six-speaker stereo with a USB port. The Ralliart adds automated dual-clutch manual transmission and all-wheel drive. Most of the top end features are also available on lower trim cars as stand-alone options or as part of bundled packages.

Standard safety features in the Mitsubishi Lancer include Antilock brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags, full-length head curtain airbags and a driver knee airbag. four-wheel disc brakes are standard only on the GTS and Ralliart.
The Mitsubishi Lancer cabin is spacious with lots of room for front and back passengers. Front seats are multi-way adjustable making them easy and comfortable for all. The the controls on the dash are well arranged, though some of the cabin materials have a hard plastic finish. In the rear, there’s enough room for a couple of adults, but taller rear seat passengers will find headroom restricted. There is decent luggage space. Overall, the Lancer is competitively priced considering the amount of kit that comes as standard.
